Dolina Chochołowska

The longest of valleys in the Western Tatras, crowned with a beautiful Chochołowska Clearing, plenty of regional shepards? huts and a large Shelter. Chochołowska Shelter offers some great couise and accommodation, and is a good starting point to the upper peaks of Tatras like Grześ, Rakoń, Wołowiec, Trzydniowiański Wierch or Rohacze. Wooden John the Baptists chapel is also located on the Clearing.

You can reach Chochołowska Clearing by foot - approximately 2 hour walk, by a bike, by a horse carriage or in summertime by a train to Polana Huciska (half way distance).
